After our success in Coventry Skip2bfit decided to run a skipping competition at Broadstairs Folk Week.
The Competition was hotly contested with the police winning for the first few days. One of the most hotly contested categories was the girls under 7s with Daisy Atkins achieving 298 skips in 2 minutes.
John McCormack from Skip2bfit said: “It was great to see families all skipping together with our fun two minute challenges.
“The feedback and support we received from everyone was amazing, Skip2Bfit is all about the family skipping together and with so many families around during folk week it proved a perfect activity for Folk Week.
"Skip2Bfit all started in Broadstairs and we now visit countries around the world so it was perfect opportunity to present in Broadstairs my home town.
"The police even joined in with the families and were leading at one point with 320 skips by PC Dan Fordham.
The mens overall winner was James Bedingfield from Broadstairs with 332 skips in two minutes.
The ladies winner was Shelley Oldfield, a fitness instructor from Margate with 311 skips.
Dave Webster won the prize for best effort with 126 while Carol Clarke toook the over 50s prize after achieving 110 skips.
Michael Cohen was the top boy (aged 11-18) with 301 skips, while Oscar Imhoff scooped the 7-11 year old prize with 278 skips.
Olivia was the top girl aged 11-18 with 262 skips, Ellie Bessant scored the highest in the 7-11 category with 274 while Daisy Atkins won the under 7s title with 298 skips.
