Skipping in Northern IrelandSkip2Bfit was contacted over a year ago by a Youth Club Manager in Northern Ireland who loved the concept of Skip2Bfit and wanted us to work in her area in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She managed to obtain a grant from Subway, which they were awarding in partnership with the Charity Healthy Hearts . Skip2Bfit skipping workshops formed the main part of this grant to encourage children in Twinbrook, Belfast to live healthier lives .

We had a great time there visiting schools and attending Saints Youth Club in the evening with both Skip2Bfit and Box2Bfit. We also went into the community and got the children skipping in the streets!

The children all oved the challenges set them and we would like to thank Saints Youth Centre, whose idea it was to bring Skip2Bfit into Belfast, Subway and Healthy Hearts for their funding support, Tesco's Distribution Centre in Belfast who helped by bringing over fresh blueberries from the packhouse in Kent, and whose manager came along to support one of the events, and finally our fruit sponsor, Winterwood Farms Ltd, who, as ever, went that extra mile to make sure that the children in Belfast got their fresh blueberries.
