Skip2Bfit recently visited St James First School in Alderholt and invited the local MP along to present some prizes to the winners and to plant a blueberry bush which Skip2Bfit had donated to the school's eco-garden. The MP, Bob Walter was happy to accept the invitation as he had seen Skip2bfit in acion before and knew how much the children enjoyed the day.
Mr Walter commented on Skip2Bfit saying:- ‘Skip2Bfit’ is a really great initiative. The benefits of physical activity for us all - not to mention young children - are many, and the link between sport, healthy eating, energy levels and concentration in class is well-documented.
“I very much hope that the children of St James’ enjoy their workshop, particularly after our summer of Olympic sport, and I look forward to giving out a few prizes to the keenest skippers at the end of the morning.”
