The Thanet Schools Skip2bfit inter school skipping challenge event took place on Friday March 11th at Ramsgate Sports Centre. The morning was a great success with fifteen teams coming along to compete in the junior and infant categories.
The event was supported by Thanet District Council and Thanet Leisure Force who helped out on the day. As Skip2bfit is not just about skipping there was a smoothie station provided by Skip2bfit's fruit sponsors, Winterwood Farms. Mr Blueberry also made an appearance for the children.
The event is provided free to all Thanet schools. All the children were given their own Skip2Bfit rope and medal for attending and trophies were presented to all the winners by Thanet South MP, Hon. Laura Sandys.

The Best Effort Cup was given to Northdown this year for coming along every year.
