The Skip2bfit Enrichment Programme

Helping schools deliver and measure the impact of enrichment

The Government's new Enrichment Framework encourages every school to provide a broad, inclusive and high-quality enrichment offer.

But many schools are now asking an important question...

How do we measure the impact of our enrichment programme?

Many enrichment activities rely on pupil voice, observations or surveys. Whilst these all have their place, they don't always provide measurable evidence of whole-school impact.

That's where Skip2bfit is different.

Our unique Personal Best Challenge enables every child to record their own progress using our adjustable counting skipping ropes. Schools can then measure participation and improvement across every class, every year group and the whole school.

Every child can participate.

Every child can improve.

Every child can achieve their Personal Best.

Unlike traditional sporting activities, children are not competing against each other. Every child is measured against their own starting point.

Whether a child achieves 10 skips or 200 skips, success is measured by improvement.

This creates an inclusive programme where children of all abilities experience achievement and develop confidence through personal success.

More than a workshop

Skip2bfit is much more than a one-day workshop.

The workshop introduces children to the Personal Best Challenge, but the real impact comes afterwards.

Schools continue using Skip2bfit during:

• PE lessons

• Playtimes

• Lunchtimes

• Enrichment sessions

• Breakfast clubs

• After-school clubs

• Family events

• Skipathons

Because every challenge is measurable, schools can celebrate improvement throughout the year rather than simply remembering a one-off event.

Measuring whole-school impact

Our adjustable counting ropes allow every child to record a Personal Best score in just two minutes.

Schools can then monitor:

• participation rates

• average scores

• improvement by class

• improvement by year group

• whole-school improvement

This provides measurable evidence of the impact of your enrichment programme whilst encouraging every child to strive for continuous improvement.

Skip2bfit Enrichment Accreditation

Schools can also join our annual Enrichment Accreditation Programme.

The programme includes:

• Annual workshop

• Accredited School status

• Bronze, Silver and Gold Improvement Awards

• Progress tracking resources

• 20 adjustable counting ropes each year

• Replacement resource bag every three years

Schools achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards by demonstrating measurable improvement in their whole-school average score.

What schools are saying

"Absolutely amazing."

"The children have loved it."

"Everybody in the school has got into it."

"We've seen an improvement in behaviour."

"It's super easy to implement."

"Out of everything we've had in school, this is probably the easiest one to establish."
